This strictly limited edition combines the distillery's unmistakable signature with an exceptional finish in Moscatel wine barrels, which gives the rum a fascinating fruity richness and elegant sweetness.

Made from the finest molasses and distilled in a combination of pot still and column still, this rum matured for over 11 years in carefully selected oak barrels in a tropical climate. For the special finish, it was then matured in former Moscatel wine barrels - these give it additional notes of honey, grapes and floral fruitiness. Bottled at cask strength at 65.1% vol., it is intense, complex and completely natural - with no added sugar, colouring or chill filtration.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep amber with golden reflections.

Nose: Complex and seductive with notes of dried fruit, honey, caramel, vanilla, grapes, oak and floral accents.

Palate: Full-bodied, powerful and balanced with flavours of nutmeg, toffee, dark sugar, grapes, wood, tobacco and sweet spice from the Moscatel finish.

Finish: Langs, warm and elegant with notes of honey, oak spice, vanilla and subtle hints of fruit.
