Ich habe die 6er Serie Malt of Islay schon vor ca. 20 Jahren von meien Kindern geschenkt bekommen. Neben dem Lagavulin gehören auch der Oban, Talisker usw. dazu. Aber der Lagavulin ist der komplexeste von allen und wird auch von den anderen 50 Whiskysorten in meiner Sammlung nicht übertroffen.
Er ist aber auf Grund seiner Intensität nur für Kenner zu empfehlen. Was das Preisniveau für diese Qualität betrifft ist er sowieso uneingeschränkt die Nummer 1
