For this bottling, Teeling uses Whiskey made from 100 per cent malted barley and traditionally triple-distilled. A particularly distinctive feature is the innovative cask management, through which Teeling pursues a modern approach within the Irish whisky tradition. The single malt combines the influences of five different cask types: Virgin American Oak, Ruby Port, Caravelos White Port, Madeira and Bourbon. The combination of various maturation and finishing methods results in a complex, balanced and distinctly fruity single malt.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber.

Nose: Tropical fruits, melon, caramelised sugar, oaky notes, ginger and subtle hints of chocolate.

Palate: Smooth and full-bodied with chocolate, mixed berries, a variety of orchard fruits and gentle spice.

Finish: Long-lasting and elegant with passion fruit, pineapple and subtle oak notes.

Teeling Whiskey SINGLE MALT is particularly well suited to being enjoyed neat or with a few drops of still water.
