Tasting Note

Colour: Dark mahogany with deep amber highlights.

Nose: Intense and complex with caramel, vanilla and dried fruit, accompanied by coffee, cocoa and pronounced notes of mature wood.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful with dark caramel, dried fruit and chocolate, complemented by coffee, vanilla and spicy oak.

Finish: Long-lasting and warming, with dark chocolate, coffee, a delicate sweetness and lingering spicy oak notes.

The Dictador Best of 1987 Altisimo 30 Years Old is best served neat at room temperature in a nosing or tulip glass, allowing the character of its long maturation to unfold undisturbed. It pairs well with mature hard cheeses, walnuts or roasted almonds, whose robust flavours harmonise beautifully with the mature cask notes.
