Asbach GmbH, a renowned wine distillery in Rüdesheim am Rhein, uses only selected wines for its sophisticated rough and fine distillation process. The distillates are first matured in Limousin oak barrels and then in particularly air-permeable German oak barrels. These barrels offer the fine brandies optimal conditions to breathe and fully develop their aromas. A secret maturing and refining process gives each Asbach its radiant topaz color and characteristic bouquet.
The bottle label is based on the original recipe from 1892, which the founder Hugo Asbach wrote down himself. The lion in the seal, the heraldic animal of the Asbach family, symbolizes the courage of the founder as well as the strength and quality of the product.
The master distiller has opened his treasure trove of the finest old distillates for the Asbach Spezialbrand 15 Jahre. Multiple distillation and careful ageing over 15 years - initially in Limousin oak barrels, later in German oak barrels - give this brandy its unique character. The secret Asbach maturing and refining process makes the Asbach Special Brandy 15 Years an incomparable rarity that meets the highest standards.
