Angel's Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky Port Wine Finish is a unique product of the Louisville Distilling Company, a subsidiary of Bacardi Limited. This small batch whisky represents the heritage and craftsmanship of three generations of one family. The initiative of father, son and grandson, who have passed on the art of whisky making from generation to generation, has resulted in this exquisite bourbon.

After a careful maturation of six years, during which around 5% of the alcohol evaporates as "Angel's Share", this whisky is given a special finish in port wine casks for three to six months. This unique method gives the whisky complex flavours and exceptional depth.

Bottled with an alcohol content of 43.3% vol. in 0.7 litre bottles, this whisky offers an incomparable taste experience.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep, shiny amber.

Nose: Rich aromas of dark fruits, vanilla and subtle spices, complemented by the sweet note of port wine.

Flavour: Complex and elegant with a perfect harmony of sweet sultanas, dried fruit, chocolate and a slight spiciness.

Finish: Langs and silky, with the port wine note leaving a pleasant sweetness and depth.

This whisky is an absolute delight on its own, allowing its full flavour profile to unfold. It also cuts an excellent figure in sophisticated cocktails, especially those that require a sweet and fruity component. Angel's Envy is an excellent accompaniment to rich desserts such as a chocolate fondant or a slice of blueberry cake. In savoury cuisine, it goes perfectly with mature cheese or as a sophisticated component in a dark sauce for game dishes.
