Toison Handcrafted Dry Gin 41.7% ABV 0.7l

Legend has it that the thermal springs of Trenčianske Teplice, a town in Slovakia, were discovered by a Hirter who was searching for his lost sheep. The name of the gin reflects its Slovak origins, symbolised by the sheepskin featured on the bottle design. The shape of the bottle resembles a bell, which further adds to the product’s uniqueness.

The gin is distilled in a Holstein still, after which it is aged for one month in earthenware vessels to further refine its flavour. Production is carried out using the steeping method, which allows the aromas of the botanicals to be extracted to the full. This traditional method, combined with ageing in earthenware vessels, gives the gin its distinctive character and depth.

The meticulous production and the lovingly designed bottle reflect the connection to Slovak history and culture, making this gin a special experience for every connoisseur.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear.

Nose: Chamomile, with notes of lime blossom and Linde flower.

Palate: Spicy with hints of pink pepper, juniper, rosehip and strawberries.

Finish: Long-lasting, with notes of liquorice and citrus fruits.
