The JP. Chenet brand was founded in 1984, when two single-varietal wines were launched: the Cabernet Sauvignon Vin de Pays d’Oc and the Blanc de Blancs Vin de Pays des Côtes de Gascogne. Originally, the brand was called J.P. CHANEL, named after a close associate who played a key role in its founding. In the years that followed, JP. Chenet continued to develop and expand its range, introducing sparkling wines and brandies alongside a wider selection of still wines.

Thanks to this expansion and a steadfast commitment to quality, the brand has gained worldwide recognition and established a significant presence in international markets. The grape varieties used by JP. Chenet, renowned for their versatility and unique flavour, include Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, which are carefully selected and processed to ensure the wines’ distinctive style.

Tasting Note

Purple-red in the glass with a violet sheen. Fruity, round and well-balanced on the nose. On the palate, notes of red fruits, blackcurrants and redcurrants. A long-lasting finish.

Residual sugar: 30 g/l.

Serving temperature: 16–18°C.

This wine pairs very well with various salads, goat’s cheese and fruits such as strawberries.
