In 1995, Don Roberto Orendain Jr., together with his sons, founded the ‘La Purísima’ distillery, drawing on a rich family history. Roberto Orendain comes from a family of pioneers in the tequila industry, which has been producing tequila since 1924, thus continuing the family’s long tradition.

With the founding of La Purísima, they are building on a history spanning over 400 years, carrying forward both time-honoured family traditions and extensive expertise in the craft of tequila-making. Today, the La Purísima distillery ranks amongst the largest and most significant producers in the tequila industry, a fact that impressively underlines its success.

Tosco Añejo Cristalino is a premium, aged agave tequila from Mexico with an alcohol content of 40 per cent. This tequila is one of the outstanding product ranges from the Hacienda Purísima distillery. In the production of Tosco Añejo Cristalino, the distillery follows an extremely precise and meticulous process, selecting only the finest agaves. After distillation, the tequila is aged for 25 months in American white oak casks, which gives it its characteristic, deep flavour and exceptional quality.
