The Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition North British 15 Years Old Single Grain Whisky is an exclusive single grain from the renowned North British Distillery, which has been operating in Edinburgh since 1885. This whisky was distilled in 2009 and, following 15 years’ maturation in selected casks, was bottled at cask strength by Signatory Vintage – one of Scotland’s leading independent bottlers. Edition #2 of this series was bottled at a robust 57.1% ABV and is therefore particularly aimed at connoisseurs who appreciate authentic flavours and undiluted character.

The North British Distillery is renowned for its consistent production of high-quality grain whiskies, which are used in numerous blends. Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Fresh cereal notes, vanilla, a hint of citrus freshness and a touch of caramel.

Palate: Intense and oily, with sweet oak, toffee, cereal spice and a hint of pepper.

Finish: Lang and warming, with notes of vanilla and oaky spice.

This whisky is a highlight for purists and is ideal for enjoying neat or with a small drop of water to open up the flavours. It is also excellent for whisky tastings amongst connoisseurs.
