The GlenDronach distillery, founded in 1826 and situated in the eastern part of the Scottish Highlands, is internationally renowned for its deep, full-bodied sherry cask whiskies. Tasting Note

Colour: Dark copper with a reddish-golden sheen.

Nose: Dried fruit, leather, cloves, raisins and a subtle hint of smoke.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful with notes of peaty smoke, dark chocolate, caramel, toasted nuts and dried figs.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering sherry sweetness, smoky oak and spicy notes.

Ideal neat or with a few drops of water in a nosing glass. Perfect with grilled meat, smoked cheese or dark chocolate with chilli. Also an excellent accompaniment to a cigar with earthy notes. A complex Highland malt for lovers of elegant smokiness and full-bodied sherry depth.
