Der Terra d'Aligi Tatone Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC 2022 ist ein kraftvoller, vollmundiger Rotwein aus der malerischen Region Abruzzen in Mittelitalien. Hergestellt aus der autochthonen Rebsorte Montepulciano, stammt dieser Wein vom Weingut Terra d'Aligi, das sich auf charakterstarke Weine mit regionalem Ausdruck spezialisiert hat. Der Name „Tatone“ – ein liebevoller Ausdruck für „Großvater“ im lokalen Dialekt – verweist auf die kraftvolle, zugleich sanfte Art dieses besonderen Weins.
Die Trauben stammen aus Weinbergen mit kalkhaltigen Tonböden, gelegen in optimalen Hanglagen, die durch mediterrane Einflüsse und kühle Fallwinde aus dem Apennin geprägt sind. Nach sorgfältiger Lese wird der Wein im Edelstahltank vergoren und reift anschließend über mehrere Monate in Eichenfässern, was ihm Struktur, Tiefe und Reifepotenzial verleiht. Der Jahrgang 2022 zeigt sich besonders ausgewogen, mit konzentrierter Frucht, reifer Tanninstruktur und gutem Trinkfluss. Tasting notes:
Im Glas leuchtet der Tatone in einem tiefen Rubinrot mit granatroten Reflexen. In der Nase entfaltet sich ein vielschichtiges Bouquet mit Aromen von reifen Waldbeeren, Schwarzkirschen, Pflaumenkompott, Tabak und zarten Röstaromen. Am Gaumen ist der Wein vollmundig, saftig und kraftvoll, mit fein integrierten Tanninen, warmer Würze und einem lang anhaltenden, leicht balsamischen Abgang.
Ein perfekter Begleiter zu Schmorgerichten, Rinderbraten, Wild, Lamm, gereiftem Pecorino oder Pasta mit Trüffel- oder Pilzsaucen. Auch zu einem rustikalen Abendessen mit Antipasti und kräftigen Käsesorten ein idealer Genuss. Gern auch dekantieren, um die Aromen voll zur Geltung zu bringen.
