Every year, the distillery presents a unique edition characterised by special botanicals and bearing a distinct signature. The 2025 edition pays homage to the Mediterranean way of life, combining fruity freshness with the depth of spicy herbs.


At the heart of the blend are hand-picked kumquats from the island of Corfu, whose fresh, complex acidity sets the stage for a vibrant interplay of aromas. These are complemented by wild mountain herbs such as thyme and pine, which lend the distillate a distinctive depth, cool freshness and authentic Mediterranean finesse. This interplay creates a flavour profile that is equally surprising, invigorating and harmonious. This edition has been bottled at 45% ABV in a strictly limited run of just 2,345 bottles, available in a stylish gift box (GB).

Tasting Note

Colour: Crystal clear.

Nose: Citrusy with an intense note of kumquat, accompanied by delicate herbal notes and fresh, woody undertones.

Palate: Vibrant citrus flavours of mandarin and lemongrass, giving way to a cool, woody freshness – with hints of basil and Mediterranean coastal herbs.

Finish: Herbal, refreshing, with a lingering Mediterranean lightness.

The Illusionist Distiller’s Edition 2025 best reveals its range of flavours when enjoyed neat in a tasting glass or as a classic gin and tonic, ideally with a neutral or Mediterranean tonic water and garnished with a slice of kumquat or fresh thyme. It also adds fruity and herbaceous notes to creative cocktails, such as a Gin Sour or a Negroni Twist.
