In the centre of Cognac, on the banks of the Charente River, is the house of A. de Fussigny, known for producing modern cognacs with historical depth. The distillery has played a key role in the history of Cognac, particularly in the transition from cask to bottle, favoured by its location on the river's transport network.

A. de Fussigny Extra Cognac, which has won several awards, deserves to be recognised for its quality. It belongs to the Extra Cognac category, with an average ageing period of 25 years, which gives it a special depth. Made exclusively from eaux-de-vie from the Grander Champagne, a region also known as Premier Cru, it emphasises the high value of the chalky soils of this area for Cognac production.

Tasting Note

Colour: Copper gold.

Nose: Elegant, complex, candied fruit aromas, notes of old wood, resin, herbs, sweet coconut, mild spices.

Taste: Powerful, velvety, honey, white fruits, ripe plums, pears, jam, wood flavours, notes of vanilla, toffee, cocoa beans, hints of tobacco.

Finish: Langs on the palate.
