Poppies Gin 40% ABV, 0.5l in a gift box online kaufen

Poppies Gin is a stylishly presented London Dry Gin from Belgium, which stands out as much for its distinctive vintage design as for its classic, finely balanced flavour. It is produced by the renowned Bruggeman Distillery, which boasts a long tradition of spirits production. The recipe is based on traditional botanicals such as juniper, coriander, angelica root, orange peel and other spices, which are macerated and distilled in a carefully balanced proportion.

The gin is named after the poppy, which in Flanders serves as a memorial to those who fell in the First World War. The nostalgic earthenware bottle, designed in the style of the 1940s, emphasises this historical connection. With an alcohol content of 40 % vol. and its elegant gift packaging, Poppies Gin is ideal as a present or for lovers of authentic and classic gin styles.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear and pure.

Nose: Subtle notes of juniper combined with sweet, spicy aromas of liquorice, coriander and cinnamon.

Palate: Smooth and well-balanced, with a harmonious blend of herbal spice, a light citrus freshness and a hint of vanilla and liquorice.

Finish: Pleasantly mild with a slightly sweet, spicy note and gentle juniper spice.

Poppies Gin is ideal for classic gin drinks. In a gin and tonic, it pairs particularly well with a high-quality Indian or Mediterranean tonic water, garnished with an orange zest or a cinnamon stick. It also reveals its full flavour in cocktails such as a Negroni or a Tom Collins. Those who wish to enjoy it neat can serve it slightly chilled to best appreciate the subtle nuances of its botanicals. A flavourful gin with historical significance – perfect for lovers of exceptional spirits!
