Matsui Whisky THE TOTTORI Blended Japanese Whisky is a harmonious blended Japanese whisky, 43% ABV, in a 0.7-litre bottle, presented in a high-quality gift box. This whisky is produced by the long-established Matsui Shuzo Distillery in Tottori Prefecture, Japan, which is renowned not only for its whisky but also for its high-quality sake and shochu specialities. The whisky is first distilled in Scotland and then transported to Japan, where it continues to mature in bourbon oak casks. Before bottling, it is diluted to its drinking strength of 43% using particularly soft Japanese spring water. Since its launch at the end of 2017, THE TOTTORI has enjoyed great popularity and impresses with its approachable, balanced style. The bottling contains caramel colouring (E150a) to standardise the colour.


Matsui THE TOTTORI combines the art of Scottish distillation with Japanese cask maturation and meticulous bottling. Maturation in bourbon casks gives it a smooth character with a pleasant sweetness and subtle vanilla notes. Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber.
