Bacardi Carta Negra is an intense, deep-dark black rum from Bacardi, one of the world’s best-known rum producers, with roots in Cuba and production sites across the Caribbean. With an alcohol content of 37.5 % vol., this rum is one of the full-bodied representatives of its category and is specially designed for lovers of strong, dark rums. It is distilled from molasse-based sugar cane and aged for several years in heavily charred oak casks, which gives it its deep, dark colour and complex flavour profile.
After ageing, the rum is refined through a special charcoal filtration process, which gives it its smooth, rounded flavours. Bacardi Carta Negra captivates with rich notes of caramel, vanilla, molasses and toasted wood, accompanied by a hint of tropical spice. The depth and spice of this rum make it the perfect choice for dark cocktails and long drinks.

Finish: Medium to long, spicy and slightly sweet with lingering toasted notes.
Ideal as a base for robust cocktails such as the Cuba Libre, Dark ‘n’ Stormy or Rum Old Fashioned. Its aromatic profile also unfolds beautifully when served neat over ice.
