It was founded by two friends, Mark Neal and Daniel McLaughlin, who shared a passion for gin, whisky and vodka and wanted to produce unique and exceptional spirits. The word ‘Scapegrace’ refers to a mischievous or reckless person and reflects the brand’s adventurous and rebellious character.

Scapegrace BLACK is filtered using activated charcoal in a unique process. This process not only helps to remove impurities but also gives the gin a striking black colour, lending it its distinctive appearance. The charcoal filtration lends depth and intensity to the spirit’s flavour profile.
