The Wachau, a romantic valley along the Danube between Melk and Krems, lies about 80 km west of Vienna and has been a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site since 2000. Thanks to its unique climate and special soil conditions, the Wachau is famous for its wine and fruit growing. Alongside the characteristic stone terraces, apricot orchards in particular shape the picturesque landscape. All products from the Wachau are homemade using traditional craftsmanship.

Markus Wieser’s love of fine whisky gave rise to the WIESky single malt range. WIESky French Oak is matured in French oak casks, giving it its characteristic flavours and a well-balanced texture.

Wieser’s products are characterised by the highest quality, traditional craftsmanship and a passion for perfection, making them a true delight for connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright chestnut red.

Nose: Masculine, classic, tobacco, leather.

Palate: Tobacco, leather, hints of chocolate and coffee.
