Prime is the realisation of a long-cherished dream: to capture the unmistakable depth and emotional richness of Italy’s most renowned wines in a fine spirit. To bring this vision to life, a close collaboration was established with experienced winemakers. The maturation of the distillates was carefully monitored, using casks that had once held fine wines. This preserves the original essence of each grape.

Prime’s packaging reflects Venetian culture and pays tribute to this region as a centre of dedication, research and innovation. The spirit itself is distilled from the grapes used to produce the famous Brunello di Montalcino, which thrive at the Castello Banfi estate. An exclusive fermentation process ensures that the finest aromatic components are preserved. This is followed by a particularly gentle distillation at low temperature in vacuum-sealed copper stills.

Ageing in small oak casks that previously held Brunello di Montalcino gives Prime its unmistakable richness and complexity.
