This edition stands out thanks to its finish in Chinquapin Virgin Oak casks – a rare North American oak species from the Ozark Mountains, which imparts a distinctive spiciness and a delicate balance of sweetness and woody notes to the whisky.

Following an initial maturation in ex-American bourbon casks, the whisky is transferred to Chinquapin Virgin Oak casks for further refinement. This finish imparts exceptional depth and gives the whisky spicy and nutty aromas, complemented by sweet caramel and vanilla notes.

Tasting Note

Colour: Brilliant gold with warm coppery highlights.

Nose: Spicy vanilla, roasted hazelnuts, toffee, cinnamon and fresh oak notes.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex, with notes of sweet honey, caramel, nutmeg, dark chocolate and a hint of ginger spice.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and slightly dry with intense oak nuances, spices and roasted almonds.
