Xibal Gin is produced using an artisanal distillation process in copper stills. Specific botanicals are used in its production, which have their origins in Mesoamerican history, to emphasise the cultural links to its Guatemalan origins and pre-Columbian Maya culture.

The selected botanicals include bay leaf, lemon, black pepper, orange, St John’s wort and cardamom.

This approach aims to forge a link between ancient Maya culture and modern Guatemalan culture.
