Savoia Americano Rosso Amaro Dolce 18.6% is a sophisticated Italian aperitif that combines the characteristic qualities of bitter amaro and sweet vermouth. Savoia was developed by Giuseppe Gallo, who drew inspiration from the historic Bitter di Milano and its 19th-century recipe tradition. A key component is D.O.C. Marsala Fino wine, which has been aged in oak and lends the aperitif additional depth and complexity. The name Savoia refers to the historic Italian royal house. The 0.5-litre bottle, designed by Stranger & Stranger, also draws on Italian culture: its striking design pays homage to the Mole Antonelliana in Turin.
