Cane Island Trinidad Single Island Blend Rum 40% vol. 0.7 l online kaufen

Cane Island Trinidad Single Island Blend Rum is a premium release from the Cane Island Rum brand, which specialises in showcasing the unique characteristics of rums from various regions of the Caribbean and beyond. This bottling comes from the Angostura Distillers distillery, one of Trinidad’s best-known distilleries, renowned for its finely balanced and aromatic rums.

This blend combines various column-still-distilled rums that have been matured for between 3 and 5 years in ex-bourbon casks. This combination creates a wonderful balance of sweet, spicy and slightly fruity notes. With an alcohol content of 40% ABV, this rum offers a pleasant smoothness and complexity, making it ideal for both sipping neat and for use in cocktails.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber.

Nose: Delicate aromas of vanilla, honey, caramel and tropical fruits with a hint of oak.

Palate: Smooth and rounded with notes of sweet toffee, roasted nuts, spices and a subtle fruitiness.

Finish: Medium-length, pleasantly dry with subtle woody notes and a gentle caramel sweetness.

Cane Island Trinidad Single Island Blend Rum is ideal for drinking neat or on the rocks to savour its balanced aromas. Thanks to its harmonious structure, it is an ideal base for classic rum cocktails such as a daiquiri, Mai Tai or Dark & Stormy. It pairs particularly well with dark chocolate, candied nuts or vanilla desserts, which really bring out its sweet and spicy notes.
