Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky is an outstanding blended grain whisky from Nikka Whisky, one of Japan’s most prestigious whisky distilleries, founded by Masataka Taketsuru, often referred to as the father of Japanese whisky. This whisky is named after Aeneas Coffey, the inventor of the Coffey still, which bears his name.

This innovation, also known as a continuous still, fundamentally transformed the distillation process and made the large-scale production of grain whisky possible in the first place. Thanks to the use of the Coffey still, Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky is characterised by efficient and consistent distillation, which utilises a variety of grains – primarily maize and malted barley – and gives it its unique profile.
