Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to grow. After farming their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now housed in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse situated in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano and surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

Bottega BACÛR The Wild Green is a distilled dry gin, produced using pure Alpine water and botanicals from various regions of Italy. This gin combines the balsamic notes of the mountain landscapes, the fresh and dried aromas of the plains and the characteristic scents of the Mediterranean maquis to create a harmonious overall profile.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear.

Nose: Intense, fruity with notes of citrus, herbs, fennel and spring flowers.

Palate: Dry, smooth, harmonious, with notes of wild herbs.

Finish: Long-lasting.

Excellent both neat and as an ingredient in cocktails and long drinks. Ideal when combined with Mediterranean tonic water, which brings out its herbal notes perfectly.
