This exclusively bottled GlenAllachie 12 Years Old is first matured for a period of 8 years in high-quality ex-bourbon casks made from American oak. This exquisite whisky is then finished for more than 42 months in carefully selected Moscatel casks from Portugal, which are normally used to produce an aromatic dessert wine. It is bottled at 48% ABV, with no added colouring and without chill filtration, to preserve the whisky’s pure flavours and natural colour.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden bronze.

Nose: Fruity notes of orange blossom and citrus fruits, heather honey, butterscotch.

Palate: Grape must, plum jam, dark chocolate, hints of cinnamon, honeyed notes, and a hint of ginger.

Finish: Long-lasting, with caramel and a hint of ginger.
