Bladnoch 11 Years comes from one of the few distilleries in Scotland’s Lowlands, situated at the southernmost point of the country. The Lowlands are renowned for the influence their location has on the flavour of whisky from this region.

This particular single malt has been matured for a total of 11 years in bourbon and red wine casks.

This double maturation allows the whisky to develop a wide range of aromas and flavour nuances, as it absorbs both the sweetness of the bourbon casks and the complexity of the red wine casks.

This whisky is bottled without chill filtration, meaning it is bottled at its natural strength and retains all the aromas and oils developed during maturation.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber.

Nose: Floral, with notes of honey, citrus and freshly mown grass.

Palate: Floral, violets, fresh apples, a hint of woody notes.

Finish: Long-lasting, sweet, fresh.
