Renowned for its world-famous Tennessee whisky, Jack Daniel's is using this release to expand its portfolio in a new direction – towards a premium American single malt. This meticulously produced bottling underlines the brand’s commitment to combining artisanal depth with innovation, whilst remaining true to its roots.

It is made from 100 per cent malted barley, distilled using traditional methods and then matured in freshly charred American white oak casks. Finally, the single malt is finished in ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Spain. This cask finishing lends the whisky a particularly complex bouquet with deep, fruity and nutty notes that harmonise superbly with the malty base.

With an alcohol content of 45% vol., Jack Daniel’s Single Malt is full-bodied, yet balanced and well-rounded in character. The 1-litre bottle is aimed at connoisseurs who wish to combine classic American whisky quality with new taste experiences. As a limited edition, this bottling also underlines the brand’s premium status beyond its typical range.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber.

Nose: Dried fruit, toasted nuts, honey and dark cherries, accompanied by a hint of oak.

Palate: Full-bodied with notes of sherry, caramel, baked apples, dark chocolate and a hint of leather.

Finish: Lang and velvety, with sweet sherry notes and elegant spice.

This single malt is excellent enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to bring out the delicate sherry aromas to the full. It is also ideal as a sophisticated alternative to Scotch malts.

Culinary pairings include strong cheeses, Iberico ham, game dishes or sweet desserts such as fig cake or dark chocolate tart. Those who enjoy experimenting can also use this whisky as a luxurious ingredient in an Old Fashioned with a hint of sherry.
