The Ca'de'Rocchi La Bastia Amarone della Valpolicella is a premium Italian wine, made from the Corvina, Corvinone (90 per cent) and Rondinella (10 per cent) grape varieties. The grapes ripen on the sun-drenched hills east of Lake Garda, at an altitude of 150 to 300 metres above sea level.

Following careful hand-picking, the wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, which gives it its complex structure and a subtle smokiness. The Ca’de’Rocchi La Bastia Amarone della Valpolicella is sealed with a traditional cork and has a residual sugar content of 4.4 g/l, giving it a pleasant sweetness on the finish.

Tasting Note

Garnet red in the glass. On the nose, aromas of cherries, plums, balsamic notes and hints of chocolate. On the palate, well-balanced acidity with a fine texture. A harmonious finish with fruity notes.

Serving temperature: 16–18°C.

This red wine pairs excellently with beef, lamb and all types of cheese.
