It is produced at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, whose history dates back to 1866. The first release in the Jack Daniel's Legacy Edition series revives a historic bottle design that was in use prior to 1904. Instead of the now world-famous black-and-white label, the bottle features an eye-catching green label with gold-coloured embellishments. Inside is the classic Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey, produced using the traditional sour mash process and filtered through sugar maple charcoal.


What makes the Jack Daniel's Legacy Edition No. 1 special is its historical design, which offers an insight into the evolution of this world-famous whisky brand. Before the distinctive black label became established, Jack Daniel’s experimented with various colours and designs. The Green Design Edition marks the start of a collection that revives these historic labels. The whisky undergoes the traditional Lincoln County Process, in which the fresh distillate seeps through a thick layer of sugar maple charcoal before being barrel-aged. It is then matured in new, charred American oak casks. Bottled at 43% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle, this Jack Daniel's collector’s edition combines traditional whisky-making with a special piece of American brand history.

Colour: Warm amber with golden highlights.

Nose: Sweet vanilla, creamy caramel and toasted oak, accompanied by ripe bananas, delicate spices and a subtle hint of grain.

Palate: Smooth and harmonious, with pronounced vanilla, sweet caramel, toasted nuts and a pleasant oaky spice, complemented by subtle fruity notes.

Finish: Medium-length and balanced, with gentle vanilla sweetness, caramelised wood notes and a pleasantly warming spiciness.
