José Cuervo’s “Reserva de la Familia” releases embody an exceptional tradition dating back to 1795 and reflect the family’s rich heritage. Every bottle in this renowned range is unique, as it is individually numbered and marked with the date of bottling. Furthermore, each bottle is sealed with an authentic wax seal, guaranteeing the exclusivity and high quality of its contents.

At the heart of José Cuervo’s private cellars lies the finest tequila, which undergoes careful ageing in premium oak casks. These casks, carefully selected from American and French oak, lend the tequila its unique range of aromas and depth of flavour. The ageing process in these specific types of wood encourages the development of complex flavour notes that connoisseurs particularly appreciate.

The current edition of the “Reserva de la Familia” was designed in collaboration with the English artist Melanie Smith, who is renowned for her vibrant and expressive artwork. Smith’s design lends each bottle an additional artistic value, emphasising the brand’s deep connection to cultural sophistication and artistic expression.
