Loch Lomond 21-Year-Old Single Malt 46% ABV 0.7l in a gift box

The Loch Lomond 21 Years Old, produced exclusively from spirit distilled in straight-neck pot stills, benefits from precise control throughout the distillation process. These special stills allow the master distillers to draw off the spirit at different strengths, which in turn plays an important role in developing the diverse flavours that characterise this whisky.

This single malt, comprising a balanced combination of two peated and one unpeated malt, is matured in carefully selected American oak casks. Maturation in these casks fosters a rich flavour profile that sets the whisky apart. Under the expert supervision of Master Blender Michael Henry, the various malts – which are blended together three months before bottling – are carefully blended. This step is crucial in creating the whisky’s unique complexity.

To preserve the whisky’s natural quality and authenticity, Loch Lomond 21 Years Old is bottled without the addition of caramel colouring and without chill filtration.

Tasting Note

Colour: Gold.

Nose: Toasted oak, coconuts, green apples, Ingwerer.

Palate: Sweet vanilla, peaches, pears, lime juice, a hint of cinnamon.

Finish: Long-lasting, dry, peaty smoke, oak flavours.
