Beefeater, founded in 1820 by James Burrough on Cale Street in Chelsea, is one of the world’s best-known brands of London Dry Gin. As the only gin sold internationally that is still distilled entirely in London, Beefeater embodies a close connection to the British capital. The distinctive bottle features the ‘Beefeater’ – a traditional guard figure from the Tower of London. These guards, officially known as ‘Yeoman Warders’, symbolise London’s historical and cultural richness and embody the city’s pride, continuity and heritage.

First launched in 1993 and reissued in 2015, Beefeater Crown Jewel London Dry Gin pays homage to the British Crown Jewels in the Tower of London and the famous ravens that guard this site. As a symbol of tradition and excellence, the names of the eight most important ravens are artfully engraved on the bottle, lending the gin a special historical depth.

Crown Jewel Gin is refined with the classic Beefeater botanicals, including juniper, angelica root and seeds, coriander seeds, liquorice root, almonds, orris root, and orange and lemon peel. In addition, grapefruit peel lends the gin a fresh, citrusy note that makes it unmistakable. The botanicals are carefully macerated for 24 hours, followed by an eight-hour distillation.
