Cane Island FIVE ICON BLEND Cane Island Rum 44% ABV 0.7l in a gift box online kaufen

Cane Island Five Icon Blend Rum is a blend that brings together the diversity and craftsmanship of five renowned rum distilleries. This blended rum originates from the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, the Demerara Distillery in Guyana, the Darsa Distillery in Guatemala, the Varela Hermanos Distillery in Panama and a prestigious distillery in Nicaragua. The skilful combination of these rums creates a multi-faceted flavour profile that delights both connoisseurs and lovers of high-quality rums alike.

The rum is distilled using both the traditional pot still method and the column still method, resulting in an impressive balance between strength and elegance. Subsequent ageing in American ex-bourbon white oak casks lends it additional depth and a harmonious interplay of flavours.

With an alcohol content of 44% vol., this blended rum offers an intense yet balanced tasting experience.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber.

Nose: Fruity aromas of tropical fruits, caramel and a hint of vanilla, accompanied by a delicate woody spice.

Palate: Smooth and full-bodied, with ripe fruitiness, caramel, oak and a subtle hint of spice, lending the rum a complex depth.

Finish: Long and pleasant, with lingering notes of oak and caramel that fade gently.

The FIVE ICON BLEND Island Rum is ideal for enjoying neat or on the rocks to allow the complex flavours to unfold fully. It pairs perfectly with grilled meat, mature cheeses such as Gouda or Manchego, as well as fruity desserts or chocolate tarts. This rum is also an excellent choice as a base for rum cocktails such as a Mai Tai or a Rum Old Fashioned.
