Tasting Note

In the glass, the 2021 Opus One displays a deep, dark ruby red colour with violet highlights. On the nose, an intense bouquet unfolds, featuring ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherry and delicate floral notes such as violets. These are complemented by subtle nuances of cedarwood, cocoa and a hint of truffle. On the palate, it is powerful yet supple, with silky, well-integrated tannins, a harmonious acidity and a long, complex finish with hints of dark chocolate, Graphit and black tea.
