The Villa di Remole, situated in the heart of Tuscany, is at the centre of the Frescobaldi family’s rich history, stretching back over 700 years. This region, renowned for its deep roots in Italian wine culture, offers ideal climatic conditions for viticulture.

The Vermentino and Trebbiano grape varieties form the basis for the wines produced there. The excellent spring climate, with ideal conditions in April and May, promotes rapid growth of the vines. A hot July kick-starts the ripening of the grapes, which is gently aided by the rainfall in the following month. The cooler temperatures in August allow essential compounds to concentrate in the grapes, resulting in excellent quality in terms of aromas and polyphenols.

The wines are vinified in stainless-steel tanks to preserve the freshness and purity of the fruit. Finally, the wines are sealed with natural corks, which underlines the traditional approach to winemaking and ensures the quality of the final product. These carefully selected winemaking methods reflect the Frescobaldi family’s commitment to producing wines of outstanding quality and character.

Tasting Note

Remole Bianco sparkles brightly in the glass, displaying a delicate straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights. On the nose, it is pleasantly fruity with notes of ripe pear and distinct nectarine. The extremely delicate hints of hawthorn blend on the palate with a soothing and well-balanced flavour.

With its fresh and fruity bouquet, this wine is wonderfully drinkable and versatile. It makes an excellent aperitif, but is also highly recommended as a dining wine, pairing well with hearty salads as well as fish-based starters and main courses.
