It is produced using a high proportion of rye, which gives it its characteristic spiciness. After distillation, this whisky is not only aged in traditional casks but is also finished with apple wood chips. This finishing process gives it a unique bouquet, where the robust spiciness of the rye meets a gentle, fruity sweetness and subtle woody notes.

Tasting Note

Nose: Spicy and fruity, with notes of rye, apple, vanilla, caramel and a hint of oak.

Finish: Medium-long to long, warm, spicy and slightly fruity-sweet with a lingering woody character.
