Bottega Alexander Aqva Di Vita Grappa Amarone is an outstanding Italian grappa made from the skins of the grapes used to produce the famous Amarone della Valpolicella. This fine grappa perfectly reflects the character of its source wine – powerful, elegant and with an unmistakable aromatic depth.


The foundation of its exceptional quality lies in the careful selection and ageing of the fresh, wine-infused pomace, which comes from the finest vineyards in the Valpolicella region. These grapes are first dried before being pressed to produce the Amarone wine. The pomace obtained from this process then serves as the basis for this fine grappa.


Distillation takes place in traditional copper stills in three phases and at different temperatures to preserve the maximum amount of aroma. Vacuum distillation is used to protect the volatile aromatic compounds, whilst bain-marie heating (water bath) ensures a particularly gentle distillation process. The result is a grappa of exceptional purity and depth, embodying the characteristic notes of the Amarone pomace. It is then aged for around six months in stainless steel tanks, further refining its smooth texture and harmonious aromas.


At 38% ABV, the Bottega Alexander Grappa Amarone is colourless, transparent and crystal-clear – a fine spirit that captivates with its aromatic intensity and elegance.
