The St. Kilian Scorpions Crazy World Single Malt Whisky, 54% ABV, 0.7 l, is a striking tribute to German musical history, craftsmanship and passion. This extraordinary special edition was created in collaboration between St. Kilian Distillers from Rüdenau in Bavaria and the legendary rock band Scorpions – inspired by the iconic 1990 album *Crazy World*.


A single malt whisky like an anthem – matured in fine ex-brandy casks as well as fresh oak and chestnut casks. This special whisky combines the precision of German distilling with the elegance of French brandy casks and the distinctive spiciness of fresh wood. Fruity sweetness, velvety woody notes and a hint of Mediterranean lightness blend here to create a multi-layered and intense taste experience that delights both musicians and whisky enthusiasts alike.


Made from 100% pure barley malt, Scorpions Crazy World was double-distilled in original Scottish pot stills. It was matured in a combination of ex-brandy casks made from French oak, virgin Russian oak and virgin chestnut casks. The result is a whisky with unrivalled depth and warmth – powerful, harmonious and with a true rock ’n’ roll soul. At 54% ABV, non-chill-filtered and free from colouring agents, this limited edition (only 1,545 bottles worldwide) impresses with its authenticity and expressiveness.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber.

Nose: Seductively fruity with aromas of ripe plums, juicy peaches, dark grapes and warm baked apples. Accompanied by vanilla, toffee, subtle oak spice, herbs and a hint of smoke.

Palate: Lush, fruity and creamy with notes of peach, grape, dark plum and pear, underpinned by toffee, vanilla, spicy wood and delicate herbs.

Finish: Long-lasting and complex with hints of fruit jam, dry oak, grape skins, caramel, chocolate and subtle earthiness.

The St. Kilian Scorpions Crazy World Single Malt reveals its full character when enjoyed neat or with a drop of water to harmoniously highlight the fruit and wood notes. It pairs superbly with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, desserts featuring caramel or dried fruit, and a mild cigar.
