Tement Süd Steirischer Verjus Rosso 0.74 l is a unique, non-alcoholic natural product from the renowned region of Southern Styria, produced using traditional, handcrafted methods. The term ‘verjus’ (French for ‘green juice’) refers to the juice of unripe grapes, which is characterised by its delicate acidity and natural freshness. The Rosso version is made exclusively from carefully selected red grape varieties, which lend the verjus not only its delicate ruby-red colour but also a subtle, fruity aroma.


The grapes come from the Tement family’s own organically farmed vineyards, which thrive on the calcareous and loamy coral limestone soils of Southern Styria. This unique soil structure lends the product a delicate minerality and aromatic depth. Following an early, gentle harvest, the grapes are cold-pressed and bottled in their natural state – completely free from alcohol, added sugar or preservatives. Tement Verjus Rosso is therefore a pure, natural product that harmoniously combines freshness, fruit and regional character.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the verjus displays a brilliant ruby red colour with violet highlights. On the nose, it offers delicate aromas of redcurrants, cranberry and slightly floral notes. On the palate, it is lively, invigorating and elegant, with juicy fruit acidity reminiscent of pomegranate and sour cherry. The flavour is crisp, refreshing and pleasantly dry, with a delicate, fruit-driven finish.

Tement Verjus Rosso is ideal as a non-alcoholic alternative to vinegar or lemon juice in the kitchen and can be used to enhance dressings, marinades or sauces. It also works beautifully as a base for refreshing drinks and mocktails, or as an elegant aperitif served with sparkling water over ice. Served at 6–8 °C, its natural freshness and harmonious acidity come into their own. Thanks to its balanced structure, it pairs wonderfully with summer salads, grilled vegetables, fish or white meat.
