Tasting Note

In the glass, a deep, dark ruby red. On the nose, intense dark berry fruit with spicy and elegant notes. On the palate, full-bodied, powerful and harmonious, with a balanced structure of ripe fruit and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long-lasting, robust and balanced.

The Heinrich Maestro 2022 pairs perfectly with roasts, lamb dishes and tangy cheeses, where its power and structure are shown off to their best advantage. This red wine cuvée from Burgenland also demonstrates its versatility when paired with hearty meat dishes, stews or mature hard cheeses. Furthermore, the Maestro shines as a stand-alone wine for quiet evenings, when a red wine with strong character, depth, ageing potential and a distinct personality is called for.
