Sabaton Legendary Gin 40% is the first spirit released under the name of the Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton, combining the band’s identity with a classic Swedish dry gin. Produced in Sweden, the recipe captures the character of the Nordic landscape. Classic juniper forms the base and is complemented by spruce, citrus fruits and berries. This results in a robust dry gin that combines spicy, resinous and fruity, fresh notes. Juniper and spruce are reminiscent of the vast Swedish forests, whilst citrus and berry notes provide freshness and a modern twist. Nose: Fresh and spicy with pronounced juniper, lively citrus notes and fruity berries, complemented by fresh, resinous hints of spruce.

Palate: Full-bodied and well-balanced with classic juniper, fresh citrus fruits and juicy berry notes, accompanied by spicy, resinous spruce nuances and a pleasantly dry structure.

Finish: Long-lasting, dry and spicy with juniper, citrus zest, delicate berry fruit and a spruce accent reminiscent of Nordic coniferous forests.

Sabaton Legendary Gin is particularly well-suited to a classic gin and tonic served with plenty of ice and a neutral or slightly citrusy tonic water, allowing the juniper, spruce and berries to come through clearly. Lemon or lime zest, rosemary or a few juniper berries make ideal garnishes. Its robust dry gin character also makes it ideal for cocktails such as a Negroni, Gin Fizz or Tom Collins.
