This Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Whiskey is based on the distillery’s classic mash bill of 80% maize, 12% malted barley and 8% rye, which defines the house’s signature style. Unlike many other bottlings, the new make spirit for this Heritage Barrel Tennessee Whiskey is filled into the casks at a lower cask strength of 50% vol., allowing a particularly balanced flavour profile to develop during maturation.


Maturation takes place in the highest warehouses in Lynchburg, where significant temperature fluctuations allow for an intense interaction between the wood and the whisky. Although no official age statement appears on the label, it is known that Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage Barrel has been matured for at least seven years in American oak casks. This Tennessee whisky is also bottled at 50% ABV, resulting in a particularly powerful and aromatic character. As a single barrel release, each bottle comes from a single cask and thus exhibits individual nuances that make this Jack Daniel’s premium whisky particularly interesting for lovers of American whiskies.
