The Porta Leone Prosecco Treviso Extra Dry DOC 11% vol. in a 0.75-litre bottle is a fresh and elegantly sparkling Prosecco from Italy, which impresses with its harmonious fruitiness, fine effervescence and classic ‘Extra Dry’ style. Produced in the renowned Prosecco region of Treviso, this high-quality Italian sparkling wine is made from 100 per cent Glera grapes, which are responsible for the typical freshness, floral aromas and lively elegance of classic Prosecco wines. The Glera grapes are harvested in September and come from vineyards with medium-heavy soils at an altitude of around 40 metres.


Porta Leone Prosecco Treviso Extra Dry DOC is produced using the traditional Charmat method. Following gentle pressing and static must clarification, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in a pressure tank with selected yeasts, ensuring the fine and persistent effervescence of this Prosecco DOC from Veneto. With a residual sugar content of around 15 g/l, the Extra Dry style is pleasantly fruity, well-balanced and particularly approachable. At 11 % vol., this Italian Prosecco impresses with its lively freshness, elegant structure and inviting drinkability. The combination of delicate fruit, a creamy mousse and harmonious freshness makes this Prosecco Extra Dry a versatile companion for countless moments of enjoyment.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Porta Leone Prosecco Treviso Extra Dry DOC is a pale straw yellow with greenish highlights and a fine, persistent effervescence. On the nose, intense aromas of golden apple, Williams pear, white blossoms and delicate citrus notes unfold, accompanied by hints of acacia honey and stone fruit. On the palate, this Prosecco made from 100% Glera is fresh, harmonious and lively, with a delicate fruit sweetness, a creamy mousse and an elegant mouthfeel. The finish is juicy, lemony and pleasantly long-lasting.
