The Hillinger Hill Side White 2025, 12% ABV, in a 0.75 l bottle, is an exceptional and characterful white wine cuvée from Austria that delights with its aromatic diversity and creamy texture. Produced by the renowned Leo Hillinger winery, this high-quality Austrian white wine blends 70% Pinot Gris, 15% Chardonnay and 15% Yellow Muscat to create a harmonious yet expressive composition. The combination of these grape varieties lends the wine both body and structure, as well as remarkable freshness and aromatic complexity.


Vinification begins with a maceration period of around six hours, which helps to develop additional aromas and structure. Fermentation then takes place in stainless-steel tanks over a period of about four weeks. The wine then matures for around two months on the full lees and a further four months on the fine lees. This extensive lees ageing ensures the characteristic creaminess, complexity and full-bodied style of the Hillinger Hill Side White 2025. With an alcohol content of 12% vol., this premium white wine from Austria is elegant, multi-layered and modern. The combination of exotic fruit, subtle spice and a creamy texture makes it a special example of Austrian white wine culture. When stored under optimal conditions, this wine has an ageing potential of around three years.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Hillinger Hill Side White 2025 displays an intense straw-yellow colour with a delicate pink hue. On the nose, complex aromas of ripe pineapple, mango and lychee unfold, accompanied by unusual notes of caramelised almonds and sweet popcorn. On the palate, this cuvée of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Yellow Muscat is round, full-bodied and exotic, with hints of chocolate-covered banana, lychee and pineapple. The moderate acidity and delicate tannins provide balance and depth. The finish is long, creamy and pleasantly warming.
