Roner Holler Sambo Hugo is an aromatic elderflower liqueur with an alcohol content of 17 per cent, available in a 0.7-litre bottle, produced by the renowned Roner Distillery in South Tyrol. This long-established distillery is one of Italy’s most award-winning and combines regional ingredients with the art of artisanal distillation. Holler Sambo is based on a house recipe and draws on an old South Tyrolean tradition: in the Alps, fragrant elderflowers have been turned into aromatic syrup in spring for generations. Roner reinterprets this tradition as a fine liqueur, thereby creating the ideal base for the popular Hugo, which also has its origins in South Tyrol. With its intense elderflower aroma and fresh fruitiness, this elderflower liqueur is ideal both as an aperitif and for a wide range of summery cocktail creations.


The Roner Holler Sambo Hugo captivates with a delicately fragrant bouquet of elderflower, accompanied by fruity notes and a harmonious sweetness. On the palate, it is full-bodied, fresh and well-balanced, with a pleasantly lingering finish. The liqueur is particularly popular as the base for a classic Hugo with Prosecco, sparkling water and fresh mint, but is equally excellent in spritzers or enjoyed neat. Served at a temperature of around 5 °C, Roner Holler Sambo Hugo reveals its fresh and floral aromas to particular effect.

Furthermore, this elderflower liqueur is ideal for spritzers, spritz variations or as a fruity ingredient in summer drinks.
