The Signatory Vintage GLENGOYNE 11 Years Old Cask Strength #700443 2014 is a strictly limited-edition single cask bottling from the independent Scottish bottler Signatory Vintage. The single malt was distilled on 1 October 2014 and bottled on 26 June 2026 after 11 years of maturation. The whisky spent its entire maturation period in a first-fill bourbon cask with the cask number 700443. As this is the first time the cask has been filled with Scotch whisky, the influence of the bourbon previously contained within it has a particularly pronounced effect on the distillate. The Glengoyne Single Malt Scotch Whisky was bottled at a robust 55 per cent in cask strength and in a 0.7-litre bottle.


With just 234 bottles worldwide, this single-cask bottling is exceptionally exclusive. Glengoyne is known for a unique feature within the Scottish whisky landscape: the distillery is situated on the border between the Highlands and the Lowlands, yet the whisky is classified as a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. With such single-cask bottlings, Signatory Vintage focuses on the individual development of a specific cask. The Glengoyne 2014 Cask #700443 combines a clearly documented age statement, maturation in a first-fill bourbon cask, cask strength and a very limited number of bottles. Tasting Note

Colour: Gold to deep gold.

Nose: Sweet and fruity with vanilla, honey and ripe light-coloured fruits, accompanied by caramel, malt and subtle oak notes.

Palate: Powerful and full-bodied with vanilla, creamy caramel and sweet malt, complemented by ripe fruit, spices and the intense character of the first-fill bourbon cask.

Finish: Long-lasting and warming, with vanilla, oaky spice, malty sweetness and lingering fruity notes.

The Signatory Vintage Glengoyne 11 Years Cask Strength is best served neat at room temperature in a nosing glass. At 55% ABV, a few drops of still water can help to bring out further fruity, vanilla and cask nuances. It pairs well with mature hard cheeses, roasted almonds or walnuts, as well as desserts featuring vanilla, caramel or apple. As it is limited to just 234 bottles, this single cask is particularly suited to discerning whisky tastings and collections.
