This speciality forms part of Marzadro’s Crema Alpina range, through which this long-established producer creates various cream liqueurs that reflect the character of the Trentino Alpine valleys. Marzadro Crema Alpina Limoncino is available in a 0.7-litre bottle with an alcohol content of 17 per cent. It is bottled by Distilleria Marzadro, which has been based in Trentino since 1949 and is particularly renowned for its grappa and liqueur specialities. Marzadro Crema Alpina Limoncino is particularly good served chilled as a digestif after a meal and provides a refreshing finish to a meal. Culinary pairings: this lemon cream liqueur goes superbly with vanilla ice cream, panna cotta, cheesecake, lemon tart or fresh berries, and can also be used directly to enhance ice cream and desserts. It is also ideal as a creamy, citrusy ingredient in dessert cocktails and summery after-dinner drinks. On warm days in particular, it is best enjoyed well chilled or over ice.
