The GlenDronach House Editions The Parisian Room is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky that combines The GlenDronach’s characteristic sherry cask style with the influence of French cognac casks. This bottling is part of the GlenDronach House Editions, a permanent range for global travel retail, created by Master Blender Rachel Barrie and launched to mark the 200th anniversary of the GlenDronach Distillery. For The Parisian Room, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, Oloroso sherry casks and French cognac casks are combined. The development of the entire series took around two years, with each edition inspired by an international metropolis and its culture of indulgence. The Parisian Room interprets the elegance and artistic heritage of Paris.

With a robust 49 per cent ABV, The GlenDronach The Parisian Room is presented in a 0.7-litre bottle complete with a gift box, making it the strongest of the three original House Editions. The classic PX and Oloroso sherry casks ensure a link to GlenDronach’s traditional cask philosophy, whilst the cognac casks from France add a distinctive, additional touch. Colour: Antique gold.

Nose: Elegant and complex, with honey-sweet grapes, plums and apple tarte Tatin, accompanied by elderflower, warm spicy notes and sherry-soaked raisins.

Palate: Rich, with baked fig galette, glazed walnuts and Medjool dates, followed by juicy peach, a croissant with lemon cream and a delicate hint of rose.

Finish: Long-lasting and elegant, with a luxurious sweetness reminiscent of truffles and lingering nutty complexity.
